about

Back in New York City again, we find our old friend Tubbs living unshowered in a van in the East Village. He used to sing through his tracheotomy hole and beat on pickle buckets in a previous band, so we figured we'd invite him to the 1998 Monkey Power Trio session. Things got dirty and disgusting in the dark and humid studio, and you can smell it on this record. Mike Bell was at a NASCAR race.
