The Monkey Power Trio is both an art project and an oddball DIY band that makes songs by recording for 24 hours once a year. In these 1-day sessions, they create messy songs without the usual constraints of genre or musicianship. The group has convened annually since 1995 and is honor-bound to continue until the last guy alive does a solo album.
